Watching Paint Dry
Caught the end of Mississippi State's spring game before the Georgia baseball game on CSS. The overtime walk-off touchdown gave the maroon side a stunning 6-0 victory. Leave it to Sly Croom to entertain his loyal following with what he called, "...a pretty good day." He added that he just wanted to come out of the game healthy. With such a lack of offensive production I'd say the team looks anything but healthy. The spring game explosion comes after the handgun incident resulting in two players' dismissals. It's sad considering I'd root for Sly over every other coach in the SEC West (not necessarily him as much as my distaste for Saban, Tuberville, Miles, Petrino, and the Nuttjob).
