Busy Week in Athens, Ga

For those of you that care, this week is a big one for two of UGA's most popular men's teams. The baseball squad opens up a 5 game home stand while the footballers close out spring practice on Saturday with the annual G-Day game.
The baseball team is coming off an important road series win over Mississippi State and the five games this week are crucial to their conference and national goals. They have been led by National Player of the Year candidate Gordon Beckham and his 15 home runs. The team has already endured a very challenging schedule but the road does not get easier from here.

The football team has been the talk of the nation since its improbable finish last year. Still, questions remain regarding the O-line, a backup for Knowshon, the receiving corps, and a potentially lights out defense. The G-Day game is important...just not that important. Trust me, questions will be lingering up until the first few weeks of the season and very few will be answered on Saturday(if any at all). Nonetheless, we are still excited about CK, TK, Richard Samuel, the always elusive Kris Durham, and the rest of the team on Saturday.
So...If you find yourself in or around Athens this week or weekend. Check out one of the many sporting events going on around town.

Baseball-

Tuesday v. Clemson 7:06 pm
Wednesday @ Clemson 7:15 pm
Friday v. South Carolina 6:30 pm
Saturday v. South Carolina 4:00 pm (changed due to G-Day game)
Sunday v. South Carolina 2:00 pm

Football-

Saturday, April 5... G-Day Game @ Sanford Stadium 2:00 pm

Certainly there are other teams in town this week, but we will be found at the aforementioned so they are clearly the most important.
